Asante Three Rivers Medical Center is looking for a Facilities Manager. Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass is a level III trauma facility, nationally ranked for high quality outcomes driven by our highly engaged team of physicians and staff. Our 125-bed hospital also includes Spears Cancer Center, Asante Urgent Care, the Asante Outpatient Center and the region’s only comprehensive Women’s Center.

Responsibilities
The Facilities Manager assumes and assures overall responsibility for successful facility operations for TRMC and Josephine County Satellite Facilities. They ensure technical expertise for grounds, plant operations, preventative maintenance, construction services, energy management, service contracts management through training, and education and staff development. This person will oversee maintenance plan projecting and will communicate facility issues and results to the appropriate management and administration. You will need to communicate effectively to managers, direct reports, peers, and administration internal/external customers to ensure accurate and timely information. You will serve as a liaison and representative to external government agencies on construction projects.

The Facilities Manager oversees 24 acres – 315,000 square feet of property. This consists of: Three Rivers Medical Center, Spears Cancer Center, Central Plant, Asante Outpatient Center, and Administration. This role also provides maintenance, support, and regulatory oversite of 6 additional hospital licensed Departments housed in various satellite buildings.

Includes direct supervision of 24 employees and oversite of non-Asante contract and temporary employees.

Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent in education and experience.
Preferred: CHFM, Master’s degree.

Experience
5 years of progressive management experience with evidence of operational excellence and innovation. (Minimum 3 years in health care industry), required.
Demonstrated skills in the areas of physical plant operations, budgetary and resource management, relationship building and customer service, and healthcare administration
Personnel management and development (teaching, coaching, mentoring), required.
Direct experience with matrix management organizational reporting structures, required.
  - Preferred qualifications: Professional Engineer designation; Active membership in professional organizations such as American Society for Healthcare Engineering. Evidence of continuing education and development in related field.
(Able to read and interpret governmental and regulatory agency documents such as OAR statutes, OSHA compliance, NFPA, DEQ, and EPA compliance codes)

Certificates & Licenses
- ODL: Possession of valid Oregon Driver License with proof of safe driving records for the past ten years and proof of insurance
- Preferred: Journeyman Electrical Certification, Journeyman HVAC Certification, Journeyman Plumbing Certification, or Professional Engineer (PE) licensed by state of Oregon
